Fun Activities

College is about gaining new knowledge and preparing you for your future career, but it can also be a fun experience. Having fun at college doesn't have to be expensive, so I will share some activities you can do with your roommates and friends at college.
1) Game Night:

My all-time favorite way to have fun at college without spending money is to have game night! IT is fun to get a group of people together and just play a bunch of card games, board games, and any other games you can think of.

2) Dance Instruction:

I don't know about other colleges, but at BYU-Idaho there are plenty of dance instruction classes that anyone can take, that are followed by actual dances. I have gone to Country dancing, and it was a blast! We also have Latino dancing, so try and look for the different options available on your campus. It is a great way to meet new people, and to learn a new skill!

3) Movie Night:

Almost everyone loves movies! Movie nights are a great way to spend time with friends, and to invite that special someone you have been eying in one of your classes. ;) Pop some popcorn, get some candy from the dollar store, and you have made a fun activity out of it.

4) Coloring:

I know it may seem childish, but coloring is a great way to unwind and relax after a long day of classes, homework, and studying. It helps one revert back to their childhood, and bring back great memories. Plus, it is a great way to talk to your roommates and friends while having something to do with your hands, and create something.

5) Picnics:

When the weather is warmer, picnics are a great college activity that is fun and inexpensive. You can make finger sandwiches and walk down to the park to eat them, while enjoying the company of your friends. While having a picnic, you can bring games, or bring sports balls to play at the park. It is simple, yet fun.

That's all that I have for you right now, but feel free to comment below with some of your favorite activities to do with friends and roommates!
