1) Spaghetti:
Spaghetti is one of the easiest dishes to make. All you have to do is cook spaghetti noodles (or shells if you want to be extra fancy), and then cook some canned spaghetti sauce. If you want to be adventurous, you can make homemade sauce, but you might have to find your own recipe for that.
2) French Toast:
French toast is one of my favorite breakfast foods! It is also fun to make if you are doing breakfast for dinner. French toast is also really simple to make. If you go the easy way, it only takes eggs, milk, and cinnamon. I recently found this really good recipe for a fancier french toast if you want to feel like you are not a broke college student for a few minutes:
Ingredients:
4 eggs
2/3 cup milk
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
8 thick slices of bread
3) Sandwiches:
There are so many different kinds of sandwiches that you can make. There is the classic PB&J, or there are lunch meat sandwiches. I love to make turkey sandwiches with mustard, mayo, lettuce, and turkey; simple yet delicious. You can also use many different kinds of bread to switch it up a little!
4) Smoothies:
I love smoothies! There is so much variety, and you can make them as fruity or with as much healthy things as you want. I personally love strawberry banana smoothies. All it takes to make them are ice, frozen or fresh strawberries, a banana, yogurt, and a little bit of vanilla. That is just how I like to make them. It is fun to experiment with smoothies by adding things like peanut butter. Have fun with your smoothie creations!
5) Tacos:
Tacos are super simple and they taste amazing! All you need are tortillas, some kind of meat and/or beans, and any toppings you want. You could even make vegetarian tacos if you really wanted to. Tacos remind me of a few dinners with my family, because we would put all the different toppings on the table, and everyone could build their own taco.
